Born and raised in Hawaii, Mike Sisiam has worked on the beach since 1978. He started working In Waikiki beach at the age of 12 under the care and instruction of the legendary Waikiki Beach Boys.

Waikiki is historically known as the origin of surfing due to the great original beach boy, Duke Kahanamoku. Mike Sisiam carries on the tradition of spreading the unique Aloha spirit through teaching surfing and giving canoe rides.

Today, Mike Sisiam is known as “Yellow Cap Mike”, a nick name given as a result of continuously wearing a yellow cap for the safety of his lessons in the water.

Certified in CPR, Life Savings, Surf Instructor, and as Canoe Captain by the State of Hawaii and the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Yellow Cap Mike will teach you how to surf while teaching proper technique, safety, and fun!
